Who is Sheila Sison, VP Duterte's lead defense lawyer?

Leading the 16-lawyer defense team of Vice President Sara Duterte in her impeachment trial is Atty. Sheila Sison, a litigator from Fortun Narvasa & Salazar.
The law firm described Sison as a "fierce litigator" who specializes in criminal litigation.
She also practices in areas of in civil litigation, family law, appellate practice, labor law, mining law, and corporate law.
Sison, according to Fortun Narvasa & Salazar "roars in the litigation arena; taking on battles no ordinary-caliber lawyer would dare handle."
"Her ability to turn tables around earns her trusting-clients," the firm added.
Sison, who was admitted to the Bar in 2014, took her undergraduate degree from the University of the Philippines Los Baños with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, Major in Writing.
She earned her Bachelor of Laws from San Sebastian College of Law – Recoletos, finishing her law degree as a full Academic Scholar of the Recoletos Order.
According to the law firm, Sison is also the firm’s "Lawyer of the Year" for five consecutive years from 2015 to 2019.
