SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – Police raided an illegal Liquefied Petroleum Gas refilling station here on Thursday, June 18.
Two individuals allegedly involved in the operation were arrested.
The operation stopped the illegal sale, refilling, possession, and distribution of LPG cylinders bearing a registered trademark.
Assorted filled and empty LPG cylinders, decanting equipment, weighing scale, and a truck tractor with trailer loaded with an estimated 19 tons of LPG valued at around P8.2 million were seized.
The suspects and pieces of evidence are under the custody of the operating unit for proper documentation and legal proceedings.
Follow-up investigation is underway to identify other suspects and determine the full extent of the illegal activity.
