Delivery courier, security guard caught with shabu in Taguig

Police arrested a delivery courier and a security guard after they sold P534,480 worth of shabu to undercover agents in separate buy-bust operations in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig, on June 19.
In Purok 6, Taguig police nabbed alias Rusty, 32, a delivery courier and resident of the barangay.
Elements of the station’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a targeted buy-bust operation. After the pre-arranged illegal transaction with an undercover operative was completed, police arrested the suspect.
Authorities seized six plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 27.1 grams, valued at P184,280, along with buy-bust and boodle money used in the transaction.
In another sting operation, Taguig police arrested alias Norodin, 33, a security guard and resident of Parañaque.
During the operation, police confiscated four plastic sachets containing 51.5 grams of shabu worth P350,200, as well as buy-bust and boodle money.
Operatives of the Taguig City Police Station apprehended a newly identified high-value drug personality on Friday evening, confiscating more than P350,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lower Bicutan.
The two suspects will face charges for violating Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
