Day 3 of BTS' Bulacan concert sells out, fueling calls for more tour dates
Tickets for the third day of K-pop supergroup BTS’ world tour stop in Bulacan next year sold out within minutes on June 20, underscoring the group's massive popularity in the Philippines and prompting renewed calls from fans for additional concert dates.
At 9:47 a.m., promoter Live Nation Philippines announced that tickets released during the general sale for the March 16, 2027 concert at the Philippine Sports Stadium had sold out. Ticket selling began at 9 a.m., leaving many Filipino ARMYs unable to secure seats despite the addition of a third show.
The hashtags #BTS_WORLDTOUR_ARIRANG_BULACAN and "sold out na" quickly trended on X as fans celebrated securing tickets while others expressed disappointment over missing out.
The Philippine leg of BTS’ 2027 "Arirang" world tour was originally scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2027. However, organizers added a third concert on March 16 following overwhelming demand during the initial ticket-selling period.
An ARMY Membership Presale for the third show was held on June 19 and also sold out, further highlighting the strong demand for tickets.
For many Filipino fans, the latest sellout serves as both a testament to BTS’ enduring popularity and a reminder of the difficulty of securing tickets. While the additional concert date enabled more fans to attend, many others were still left without tickets, prompting renewed appeals for more shows in the country.
The rapid sellout of all three concert dates reinforces the Philippines' reputation as one of BTS’ strongest markets in Southeast Asia, with fans consistently demonstrating their willingness to travel, queue, and compete for tickets whenever the group stages a local concert.
With the concerts still months away, many fans are hoping organizers will add more dates to accommodate demand and give more Filipino ARMYs the opportunity to see BTS perform live.
