Davao artist Bing Taojo returns with “Brief Eternities,” a new exhibition that transforms flowers into meditations on time, memory, and the beauty of impermanence.

Now on view at Galerie Joaquin at Power Plant Mall, the show presents a collection of vibrant floral works that invite viewers to pause and appreciate life's passing moments.

Known for her expressive use of color and atmosphere, Bing looks beyond flowers as decorative subjects. In “Brief Eternities,” blooms become symbols of life's continuous cycle, from emergence and full bloom to eventual fading. Rather than focusing on a single stage, the artist embraces the entirety of a flower's journey, finding beauty in both its radiance and its decline.

Rendered in acrylic on canvas, the works move through a rich spectrum of hues, from delicate blush tones and translucent whites to saturated crimsons, magentas, and earthy umbers. Pieces such as “Window in Time,” “Garden Polka,” and “A Thousand Thoughts” reflect Bing's fascination with transformation, where every petal, shadow, and shift in color suggests the passage of time.
