Iloilo is a place worth coming back to for its food, walkable paths, and homely atmosphere.
That comes as no surprise, given the city’s identity as the City of Love. If that’s not enough to call it a place worthy of repeat trips, even UNESCO knows its worth, having granted it the prestigious title as a Creative City of Gastronomy. We’ve already covered its mouthwatering foodie destinations countless times before, so now the question is, where could one stay?
Megaworld Hotels and Resorts’ latest addition to its roster, Belmont Hotel Iloilo, seeks to fill that need. It’s already set to become the largest hotel in Iloilo, hosting a whopping 405 rooms and suites across 12 stories, ready to be occupied by travelers and staycationers. If that’s not enough, Iloilo Business Park is also home to Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo within its 72-hectare mixed-use development.
“Belmont Hotel Iloilo is our invitation to travelers to discover the many stories, flavors, and experiences that make this city special,” shares Belmont Hotel Iloilo general manager Joy Alonte. “As the biggest hotel in Iloilo, we are excited to welcome guests with the warmth of Ilonggo hospitality. We invite everyone to come and experience our destination and truly 'Come Find Your Iloilo' with us.”

Of course, with every hotel comes its many amenities. Guests can expect twin, queen, and premier room categories, as well as spacious one-bedroom suites. There are also special rooms for those with certain needs and themed rooms for families with children. Those looking for a wellness retreat can also make use of the hotel’s BFit Gym, sauna, massage rooms, and lounge pool to treat themselves to a full day of relaxation. For food, stop by the Belmont Café for a taste of Iloilo’s best flavors. Zabana Bar also offers beverages that utilize Filipino ingredients with international inspirations, perfect for a nightly catch-up with friends and colleagues. Or, for those looking to max out vacation mode, try the Float Bar for some poolside refreshments.
Belmont Hotel Iloilo opens to the public on June 24, 2026.
