CAVITE – Authorities seized more than P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations on Thursday, June 18.
In Naic, operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cavite Provincial Office and the Cavite Maritime Police Station conducted a sting operation in Barangay Halang.
The PDEA 4A identified the suspects as alias Larry and alias Elwood.
Confiscated from their possession were more or less 500 grams of white crystalline substance with an estimated standard drug price of P3.4 million. Operatives also recovered the buy-bust money and one cell phone.
The Cavite PPO identified them as alias Ma and alias Gerlie.
Authorities seized from the suspects 26 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P176,800.
In a statement, Cavite PPO Director Col. Ariel R. Red said the successful operation shows the dedication of the law enforcers in maintaining public safety against the threat posed by illegal drugs.
All suspects arrested in both operations are now in custody and are facing drug charges.
