SM Supermalls in the Visayas continue to champion creativity, sustainability, and community engagement through Art from All 2026, a region-wide campaign that transforms recycled materials into inspiring works of art while promoting environmental awareness and cultural appreciation. Anchored on SM Supermalls’ commitment to creating experiences all for you, the initiative encourages communities to max out their appreciation for art and sustainability through meaningful collaborations with local artists, environmental advocates, and civic organizations.
This June 8, SM Supermalls in the Visayas unveiled nine extraordinary installations from 40,000 plastic bottles collected across its most-loved malls, each reflecting the unique stories, heritage, and environmental advocacies of the communities they serve.
SM City Cebu brings to life PANON: A Run of Thousands, a breathtaking hanging installation at the Main Mall Rotunda that transforms recycled plastic bottles into a stunning interpretation of Moalboal’s world-famous Sardine Run through a partnership with Creative Hands Mugna.
Celebrating Cebu’s rich maritime heritage, SM Seaside City Cebu highlights Nautilus at the Tower Garden, a striking installation inspired by the chambered nautilus or “lagang,” a marine creature known for its beautifully spiraled shell that symbolizes growth, continuity, and resilience. Created by UP Cebu fine arts graduate Roy Ingente using recycled plastic bottles, the artwork pays tribute to the enduring relationship between the Cebuano people and the sea while drawing inspiration from the iconic nautilus-shaped architecture that defines SM Seaside City Cebu.
Meanwhile, SM J Mall features Nagare (Flow/Current) at the Second Level, Izakaya Terrace, where nine koi fish crafted from recycled plastic bottles symbolize perseverance, resilience, and unity through the collaborative efforts of artist and designer D’oro Barandino, Project Tapuk, and JCI Cebu.
SM City Consolacion introduces Kabilin at the Second Level Bridgeway, where artists Cham Lopez and Philip Anthony Labuga transformed collected plastic bottles into a remarkable representation of the endangered Thresher Shark, raising awareness on marine conservation while celebrating Cebu’s rich ocean heritage.
Carrying a message of hope and environmental responsibility, SM Center Ormoc spotlights I-KAN: Hope of the Seas on the Second Level fronting Ace Hardware, inspired by Kan, the rescued green sea turtle whose story reignited local conservation efforts, in partnership with Andrea’s Floral Baske.
Bringing an imaginative underwater world to life, SM City Iloilo comes alive with Irrawaddy Dolphin at the Lower Ground Level Northpoint, where Ilongga artist Margaux Blas and partner organization Rezbin transformed recycled plastic bottles into colorful corals, playful sea creatures, and flowing ocean forms.
Adding another wave of environmental inspiration, SM City Bacolod takes center stage with Waves of Life at the Second Floor North Wing, a striking 10-foot sculpture made up of collected plastic bottles, created in partnership with visual artist Robert de Aro, crafted entirely from recycled plastic bottles.
Along the coast of Capiz, SM City Roxas brings forward Sea the Change at the Second Level Cyberzone, blending coastal forms and fish motifs into an engaging visual experience created with JCI Roxas Makawiwili and contemporary mixed-media junk art artist Joey Cabiles.

Completing the regional showcase, SM City Puerto Princesa showcases the Blue Bubble Bay on the Second Level of the mall, where Palawan News transformed collected plastic bottles into a captivating jellyfish-inspired installation that celebrates the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems.
Together, these installations demonstrate how SM Supermalls in the Visayas continue to transform everyday spaces into platforms for creativity, environmental stewardship, and community engagement while inspiring mallgoers to become active participants in building a more sustainable future.
This commitment to purposeful and community-driven innovation recently earned international recognitions as Art from All 2025 received a Silver Award at the prestigious ICSC Maxi Awards, and Bronze at the 13th Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards under the Award for Innovation in Cultural or Community Events, recognizing SM Supermalls in the Visayas for creating impactful experiences that connect art, culture, and sustainability.
