Kieffer Alas denies hazing speculations in Aurora training camp

Kieffer Alas dismissed speculations that the Ateneo training camp in Aurora was part of an initiation process for newcomers.
The two players said the team-building activity was never meant to harm anyone.
Rene Clert Baterbonia and Divine Adili died in Dipaculao last June 8.
"The only thing I felt like as a team was us getting closer po," Alas said during the "Let’s Talk" podcast hosted by veteran broadcast journalist Pia Hontiveros on Tuesday, June 16.
The camp, they explain, was designed by former head coach Tab Baldwin to strengthen mental toughness and foster camaraderie between the players.
“It just hurts how people perceive it that way. I know my veterans wouldn’t even think of that,” he said. They wouldn’t do that to me,” Alas added.
