Asticom Holding Co. Inc., the shared services unit of Globe Telecom Inc., has teamed up with a global software provider to expand its enterprise solutions portfolio, enabling companies to speed up their digital transformation.
Asticom announced on Tuesday, June 16, that it has joined the partner program of Workday, gaining access to the American firm’s human capital management (HCM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
Asticom president and chief executive officer (CEO) Mharicar Castillo-Reyes said the partnership positions the company as a trusted local partner of Workday and its globally recognized solutions designed to support operational efficiency.
“We are pleased to share this collaboration as we continue to strengthen our portfolio of world-class services and solutions, continuously fulfilling our mission of helping businesses grow and thrive in an increasingly digital business landscape,” said Castillo-Reyes.
“Together with Workday, and enabled by the expertise of our teams at Asticom, we are well-positioned to help bring meaningful transformation in HR and finance in the Philippines,” she added.
Under the partnership, Asticom’s information technology and business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) arm, Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), will serve as the implementing arm for Workday’s solutions.
ABSI will leverage its capabilities in enterprise technology, systems integration, and digital transformation services to help clients modernize their workforce management and financial operations.
At present, Workday serves more than 11,500 customers worldwide across key industries such as financial services, retail, manufacturing, technology, transportation, and energy and resources.
The company integrates artificial intelligence (AI) and automation into human resources and finance functions to improve operational efficiency by automating routine processes and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Workday ASEAN general manager Jess O’Reilly said partnering with Asticom further expands the reach of the company’s HCM and ERP services at a time when local companies are navigating a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
“By combining our global technology with Asticom’s local presence and the technical expertise of ABSI, we aim to help businesses unlock new levels of productivity and workforce resilience in the age of AI,” she said.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Globe, Asticom’s portfolio spans talent solutions, human resources, customer experience, IT, finance and accounting, and engineering services.
The company serves more than 200 clients, with a workforce of over 4,000 professionals nationwide. (Dexter Barro II)
