MG Philippines launched the HS PHEV, RX9 PHEV, and MG4 EV Urban at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show, expanding its local range of electrified vehicles.
The three models made their Philippine debut at the MG Pavilion as part of the company’s “The Next Wave Continues” campaign. MG first introduced the campaign at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show.
MG HS PHEV
The MG HS PHEV combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a 21.6-kWh battery. The plug-in hybrid system produces a combined 272 PS.
MG claims the HS PHEV can cover up to 100 kilometers on electric power. Its combined driving range is listed at more than 1,000 kilometers.
Equipment includes two 12.3-inch displays, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, and the MG Pilot suite of driver-assistance systems.
The HS PHEV has a suggested retail price of ₱1,548,888. Customers who purchase the vehicle in June will receive a ₱30,000 cash discount, reducing the price to ₱1,518,888.
MG will also include a 7-kW wall charger valued at ₱30,000 and a ₱10,000 retention incentive for customers waiting for their units. The company places the total value of the June package at up to ₱70,000.
MG RX9 PHEV
The RX9 PHEV is MG’s new seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV. It uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid-specific gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a 24.7-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. The system produces a combined 299 PS.
The RX9 PHEV has a claimed electric driving range of 115 kilometers and a total driving range of more than 1,100 kilometers.
Its cabin comes with two 12.3-inch displays, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, ventilated front seats with a massage function, a 12-way power-adjustable seat with memory, and three-zone climate control. The MG Pilot driver-assistance package is also included.
The RX9 PHEV carries a suggested retail price of ₱1,998,888. A ₱30,000 June discount brings the price down to ₱1,968,888.
Buyers will also receive a 7-kW wall charger valued at ₱30,000 and a ₱10,000 retention incentive while waiting for delivery. MG values the complete offer at up to ₱70,000.
MG4 EV Urban
The MG4 EV Urban is a compact electric vehicle measuring 4,395 mm long, 1,842 mm wide, and 1,549 mm tall. It has a 2,750-mm wheelbase.
A 110-kW electric motor is paired with a 43.2-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. MG claims a range of up to 403 kilometers under the NEDC testing cycle. The battery can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in 35 minutes using a compatible fast charger.
The MG4 EV Urban has a 12.8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also supports vehicle-to-load operation, allowing the battery to supply power to compatible external equipment.
The cargo compartment holds 480 liters, including a 98-liter storage area beneath the floor. Capacity increases to 1,364 liters with the rear seats folded.
The MG4 EV Urban has a suggested retail price of ₱1,198,888. The first 100 buyers can purchase it for ₱1,148,888.
The introductory package also includes a 7-kW wall charger valued at ₱30,000. Together with the ₱50,000 discount, MG places the total benefit at ₱80,000.
Reservations for the HS PHEV, RX9 PHEV, and MG4 EV Urban are now open with a starting reservation fee of ₱1,000.
G50 PHEV passes 1,000 reservations
MG Philippines also announced that the G50 PHEV has passed 1,000 reservations nationwide. The company has begun releasing the first batch of units to customers.
The plug-in hybrid MPV has a claimed total driving range of more than 1,400 kilometers.

Visitors can see the vehicles at the MG Pavilion during PIMS 2026 from June 4 to 7. Test drives, interactive activities, and reservation offers are also available during the show.
