Street sweeper commended for returning lost wallet in Manila

The Manila local government commended a Department of Environment and Public Services (DEPS) personnel on Tuesday, June 16, for returning a lost wallet she found while clearing debris at the Quirino Grandstand in Ermita.
According to DEPS- District V personnel, she discovered the unattended items containing cash and vital documents during the Independence Day celebrations on Friday, June 12.

She immediately turned over the belongings rather than keeping them.
The Manila Public Information Office (PIO) posted an advisory on its social media page to find the owner.
The local authorities said the employee demonstrated high standards of integrity and civic duty during a major public event.
