2 laborers electrocuted in Abra

BANGUED, Abra – Two cousins were electrocuted to death while repairing the roof of a house in Barangay Angad, this capital town, on Sunday, June 14.
Police said the victims were construction workers and residents of Barangay Baac, Langiden, Abra.
Investigation showed that the incident occurred at around 10 a.m.
The victims were using an improvised bamboo ladder when it touched a live electrical wire extension.
Investigators believe this caused the fatal electrocution.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but were declared dead on arrival.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
