MORE RELIEF AID FOR SOUTHERN MINDANAO QUAKE VICTIMS — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) dispatches another batch of ChariTimba food packs aboard a Philippine Air Force (PAF) Airbus C-295 bound for Glan, Sarangani, as part of its continuing relief operations for families affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Southern Mindanao. Glan was isolated for several days due to road damage caused by the powerful earthquake, with access routes reopening only on June 13. The latest batch of relief aid was delivered on Sunday, June 14. The PCSO, according to General Manager Mel Robles, continues to mobilize and transport relief aid to reach affected communities and help accelerate their recovery in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive for the swift delivery of assistance to citizens in need.
