Marcos extends birthday wishes to Trump

President Marcos wished United States President Donald Trump happiness, good health, and success on his birthday.

Marcos took to social media his birthday greeting for his American counterpart on Monday, June 15.

"Happy Birthday, President Trump. On behalf of the Filipino people, I wish you good health, happiness and continued success in the year ahead," Marcos said in his post.

The President also recognized Trump's leadership, saying it continues to play an important role in guiding the United States at a critical time in its history.

"Your leadership continues to shape the direction of the United States at a consequential moment in its history, while influencing developments and discussions on many of the most pressing issues facing the international community today," Marcos said.

"I trust you enjoyed your birthday celebration and the company of family and friends," he added.

The Chief Executive also expressed hope that relations between the Philippines and the US grow stronger.

"May the enduring friendship between the Philippines and the United States continue to grow stronger in the years ahead," he said.
