CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Two police majors from the Philippine National Police Academy Class Masaligan 2011 were promoted to the rank of police lieutenant colonel during an oath-taking and donning of ranks ceremony in Camp Olivas here on Monday.
Promoted were Santi Frey Lorenzo and Karl Marlo Sanchez.
The ceremony was presided over by Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez.
Lorenzo is the deputy force commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3. Sanchez heads the Complaint Referral Monitoring Center (CRMC)-Salaam under the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD).
Mendez commended the newly promoted officers for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service and emphasized that every promotion comes with greater responsibility and higher expectations.
“The promotion is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and faithful service to the organization. Along with this new rank comes a greater responsibility to serve as role models of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in public service,” Mendez said.
According to the PRO-3, their promotion recognized their years of dedicated service and reflects the police organization’s trust and confidence in their ability to assume greater leadership roles within the Philippine National Police.
Their promotion also highlighted the continuing commitment of the PNP to develop competent leaders who uphold the values of integrity, accountability, and service to the Filipino people.
