Laborer arrested for raping minor in Isabela

Police arrested in Calamba City, Laguna on Sunday a 36-year-old laborer for allegedly raping a minor 15 times in Alicia, Isabela.
The suspect from City of Ilagan, Isabela was apprehended on a warrant issued by the City of Ilagan, Isabela Regional Trial Court Branch 18 with no bail recommended.
Police Col. Manuel Bringas, Isabela police chief, said the arrest was part of an intensified intelligence-driven campaign targeting wanted persons included in the e-Warrant System.
The operation was led by the Alicia police in coordination with Isabela Provincial Intelligence Unit.
He is under the custody of Alicia Municipal Police Station pending proper turnover to the issuing court.
