A fire broke out at a junkshop along Latukan Street in Barangay Manresa, Quezon City on Saturday morning, June 13, prompting the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to deploy firefighters to control the blaze.
According to the BFP, the fire involved a storage area of the junkshop after it was reported at around 8:41 a.m.
The BFP raised the first alarm at 8:43 a.m. as fire personnel responded to the area to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures.
The fire was placed under control at around 10:14 a.m. and was declared fire out at 10:18 a.m., while authorities continue to determine the cause of the incident and assess the extent of damage.
