Bianca Manalo confirmed single after being linked to Celeste Cortesi controversy

The truth is finally out.

After keeping quiet about the status of her relationship with Senator Win Gatchalian, Bianca Manalo's management, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, has confirmed what many had long suspected: the actress-beauty queen is now single.

Ironically, in true showbiz fashion, the revelation surfaced after Bianca became entangled in rumors surrounding the reported breakup of pregnant beauty queen Celeste Cortesi and her non-showbiz partner, Jonathan Sterling.

As online criticism mounted, Sparkle issued an official statement to defend its talent and set the record straight.

"On behalf of our Sparkle Artist, Bianca Manalo, we would like to clarify that there is no truth to rumors circulating about her involvement with another couple," the agency said.

Sparkle went on to make a revelation that immediately caught the attention of netizens:

"She is single and not in any relationship."

The talent agency also appealed to the public to stop spreading misinformation about the actress.

"We hope this settles the matter and that we all continue to spread and click kindness instead," Sparkle said.

The statement marks the first time Bianca's camp has publicly described her as single, effectively confirming that she is no longer in a relationship with Gatchalian.

Notably, neither Bianca nor the senator had ever officially announced a breakup despite persistent speculation over the past two years.

Rumors about trouble in their relationship intensified early this year after Gatchalian was asked about his love life during an interview and jokingly described it as "non-existent." Although he later clarified that he was kidding, the remark further fueled speculation that the couple had already parted ways.

Even before that, breakup rumors had circulated last year after observers noticed that the two spent the holiday season separately. 

The pair's relationship also faced public scrutiny in late 2023 when Bianca became embroiled in a leaked-message controversy involving her "Magandang Dilag" co-star Rob Gomez. Gatchalian stood firmly by her side then, saying that "no fake news" would come between them.

For now, Sparkle's statement appears to have answered one lingering question about Bianca's personal life while shutting down another controversy altogether.
