'Sit tight': BTS two-day Bulacan concert sells out, Filipino ARMYs push for third show
K-pop superstars BTS have once again proven their massive pull in the Philippines after tickets for their two-day “Arirang” concert in Bulacan sold out within just three days of ticket sales, prompting an immediate wave of calls from fans for an additional show.
Promoter Live Nation Philippines confirmed that all tickets were fully sold out across the ARMY Membership Presale on June 9, the Live Nation Presale on June 10, and the General Onsale on June 11.
Across all three selling days, hundreds of thousands of Filipino fans flooded online queues in hopes of securing seats, with many describing long waiting times, website congestion, and repeated failed attempts to access tickets.
As the digital queues stalled, the phrase “sit tight” quickly became a trending frustration among fans, after appearing on the ticketing platform message “Sit tight, we’re securing your tickets.”
But as hopes of securing tickets faded for many, the conversation quickly shifted from disappointment to demand.
Filipino ARMYs have since begun calling on Live Nation Philippines to add a third concert date, arguing that the demand for BTS in the country remains too high to be limited to only two shows.
One fan group account, ARMY Pulse PH, urged organizers to reconsider the schedule, noting the scale of unmet demand.
It added that many fans spent hours preparing for online queues, only to face crashes and delays that ultimately left them without tickets.
“The overwhelming response wasn’t just a reflection of popularity; it was proof of how much this moment means to us, the ARMY,” the post continued. “The demand is there. The support is there. The stadium can be filled again.”
For many fans, the push for a third show is not only about access but about inclusion, an opportunity to be part of what is expected to be one of the biggest K-pop events ever staged in the country.
As of writing, the Bulacan concert remains the final announced stop of BTS’s world tour, with no additional dates confirmed.
