Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon assured that no student will be left behind as the city government begins distributing free Balik Eskwela packages to public school students next week.
Biazon made the announcement to answer queries on the date of the distribution of the free school supplies and shoes.
He said the decision was made in order to assess the actual number of public school students who enrolled for the school year 2026 to 2027.
“Dahil naka-base sa actual enrollment ang bilang ng mga package na ipapamahagi sa bawat paaralan, mahalaga rin na ma-finalize muna ang enrollment ng mga estudyante. Sa ganitong paraan, masisiguro nating tama ang bilang ng mga package at walang maiiwan (Since the number of packages to be distributed to each school is based on the actual enrollment, it is also important to finalize the enrollment of the students first. This way, we can ensure that the number of packages is correct and that no one is left behind),” he said.
Muntinlupa’s Balik Eskwela package includes backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils, pencil cases, pad papers, and MUNwalk sneakers for kindergarten to senior high school.
City government personnel had a meeting with public school principals and the Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa for the schedule of the distribution and other guidelines.
Biazon assured that every enrolled student in a public school in Muntinlupa will receive a Balik Eskwela Package.
