Former U-KISS member Eli to remarry six years after divorce

After years of personal struggles and life-changing lessons, former U-KISS member Eli Kim is ready to say “I do” again.

The 35-year-old singer surprised fans by announcing that he will be remarrying, six years after the end of his first marriage. According to reports, the wedding ceremony is set to take place on June 14.

Eli first made headlines in 2014 when he revealed that he had secretly married model Ji Yeon-soo. The couple later welcomed a son in 2016. However, their marriage eventually came to an end, and they separated in 2020.

On June 11, Eli shared the happy news through a heartfelt message, reflecting on the challenges he faced following his divorce and the journey that led him to find love again.

“The past six years have been some of the most challenging and transformative years of my life,” he wrote. “They’ve been filled with ups and downs, difficult lessons, personal growth, and moments that forced me to see life from a different perspective.”

Eli revealed that he met a woman who brought “understanding, happiness, and peace” into his life, adding that her patience and support helped him navigate some of his most difficult moments.

“I’m grateful to share that I have found the person I will be sharing the rest of my life with,” he said. “I feel incredibly fortunate to begin this next chapter together and look forward to all that the future holds for us.”

The former K-pop idol also expressed gratitude to God and to the fans who stood by him throughout his career and personal challenges.

“To everyone who has supported me over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Eli wrote. “I am deeply grateful for all your love, support, and encouragement as I begin this new chapter of my life.”

Eli debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2008 and remained with the group until his departure in 2019 after his contract expired.
