27th PH Academic Book Fair
Educators, librarians, and academics are set to gather once again under one roof at the 27th Philippine Academic Book Fair on July 8-10, 2026, at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall.
The three-day event highlights the crucial task of updating educational spaces and tools with the theme “Navigating the Future of Education with Adaptive and Green Learning Tools,” underscoring the importance of sustainability and flexibility in today’s evolving academic environment.
Organized by the Academic Booksellers Association of the Philippines (ABAP) and co-organized by Primetrade Asia, Inc., the book fair has long been recognized as a foundational marketplace for institutional buyers, researchers, teachers, and students.
“Education is evolving quickly, and our schools need to adapt while keeping sustainability in mind,” said ABAP president Evelyn Millar. “Through this year’s fair, we want to give our educators and librarians an accessible space to find the green and adaptive tools they need to prepare Filipino students for what’s ahead.”
The event will showcase a wide profile of academic books, international journals, magazines, educational video and audio materials, publishing aids, electronic references, and advanced computing solutions.
This year’s participating exhibitors include Bookquick Marketing, C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions, Inc., CD Books International Inc., Central Book Supply, Inc., EESM Bookstore, and F & J de Jesus, Inc.
Joining them on the exhibition floor are Fastbooks Educational Supply, Inc., Forefront Book Co., Inc., Golden Books Services, Inc., Linar International Book Resources, Inc., Megatexts Phil., Inc., and Mind Mover Publishing House, Inc.
Rounding out the extensive roster are Reader's Knowledge Bookstore, Rex Education, Serv Enterprises, The Aquarian Books & Novelties, University of the Philippines Press, and YFE Worldwide Logistics, Inc.
In addition to the vast exhibition floor, the book fair features a series of highly relevant special seminars aimed at library innovation and digital transition. On opening day, July 8, the Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) will host a two-part forum titled "Navigating Adaptive and Versatile Innovations for Green Academic and Technology-Enabled Libraries.”
The learning sessions continue on July 10, courtesy of the Philippine Librarians’ Association Inc. Centered on the theme "CARE: Cultivating Active, Resilience, and Empowered Librarians," the afternoon features two specialized topics: "The Well-Being Librarian: Nurturing Yourself While Serving" and "Fit for Service: Strengthening Physical Health in the Library Profession."
