Flagged drug dealer yields P489K shabu in Pasig sting

Authorities seized P489,600 worth of shabu from a drug dealer on the police watchlist, along with another man, during a buy-bust operation in Pasig City.

The Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspects as “Gaspar,” 45, listed as a street-level individual, and “Yuri,” 32. They were arrested by personnel of the Pasig City Police Station in Barangay Sta. Lucia at around 4:20 a.m.

Authorities said the operation was launched after intelligence gathering and surveillance by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Pasig City Anti-Drug Abuse Office (PCADAO).

Recovered from the suspects were 14 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with a total weight of about 72 grams.

The suspects are in police custody and will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
