Filipino developers' Sepak U: Sports Fighting Game is the game we all need

Filipino devs, Good Knight Collective officially pulled back the curtain on Sepak U: Sports Fighting Game in April, a game that is built around the beloved sport, Sepak Takraw, and charged with a comical high-energy world. It’s basically Tekken Ball mixed with Shaolin Soccer.
That means fireballs and flying slippers causing widespread chaos on screen. Honest to goodness, it looks like a lot of fun.
The game is filled with comical characters with the designs alone screams personality. From the trailer alone, Mama Mo (Can be interpreted as: Yo Mama) is going to be a main for many.
Sepak Takraw itself has deep roots across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, and has long been a staple of school sports programs and regional competitions, a sport that never quite crossed over into global mainstream consciousness the way it deserves. Sepak U may be the most joyful ambassador it's ever had.
The game will introduce an interesting new twist, where losers can choose random upgrades to tip the scales. Imagine the back and forth between winners and losers. In fact, it may bring in some competitive advantages to even lose on purpose, which is interesting.
The game is currently available for Wishlist on Steam.
