For years, the Department of Science and Technology–Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII), through DOSTv, has given Filipinos the gift of knowledge through its shows make science, technology, and innovation (STI) more accessible. As it marks its 10th year, the DOSTv further strengthens its mission with new programs and partnerships.

The event brought together DOST’s key officials, partners, and program personalities as they looked back at the milestones the department’s official science broadcast program has achieved through the years.
One of the highlights of the event was recognizing DOSTv’s partners, which include BPI Foundation, Film Development Council of the Philippines, DZBB, Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs, Inc., and Fifty5Blue (Kantar Media). The event also marked the launch of its new programs. “NegoSiyensya” is a science and technology-oriented business program that highlights how STI creates opportunities and provides solutions for various sectors, including MSMEs, farmers, fisherfolk, local government units, and communities. Second is the “Sci.Say,” a vodcast platform designed to make science conversations more accessible, engaging, and relevant to younger and digital audiences.
“As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of DOSTv, may we continue to tell stories of science that empower the nation, inspire the next generation, and strengthen our shared commitment to national development,” DOST Secretary Renato U. Solidum, Jr. said. “Let us look forward as another 10 more years unfold, writing stories not only of science knowledge but of lives empowered.”
