Taguig and Pateros residents can now access vital government services closer to home, as their mayors inaugurated new offices of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano graced the opening of the LTO Taguig District Office and Licensing Extension Office at Lot 92A2, Special Economic Zone, Food Terminal Complex.
She said the new location makes LTO services more accessible for motorists and residents.
“Sa pagbubukas na ito, inaasahan na mas mapapadali at magiging mas maginhawa ang pag-access sa mahahalagang serbisyo ng LTO (With this opening, it is expected that access to essential LTO services will be easier and more convenient),” Cayetano said.
In Pateros, NBI Director Melvin Matibag spearheaded the launch of the NBI Satellite Office, joined by Mayor Gerald German, Vice Mayor Carlo Santos, and former mayor Ike Ponce.
The Pateros municipal government said the new office will spare residents from traveling far for NBI clearance and other services.
“Ito ay isang konkretong hakbang upang makatipid sa oras, gastos, at pagod ng ating mga kababayan habang pinapahusay ang access sa mahahalagang serbisyo ng gobyerno (This is a concrete step to save time, money, and effort for our countrymen while improving access to essential government services),” it said.
