Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young end 14-year relationship, agencies confirm
Korean actor Jung Kyung-ho, 42, and actress-singer Choi Soo-young, 36, broke up after 14 years in a relationship.
The two apparently grew distant from each other due to their careers and decided to end their relationship.
"It is true that the two have broken up,” Saram Entertainment, Choi Soo-young’s agency, confirmed to MyDaily news outlet.
A source close to the couple said, "Because Jung Kyung-ho is constantly working on projects and Choi Soo-young is active between Korea and Japan, they met infrequently due to their busy schedules, and they recently ended their romantic relationship."
They were known as one of the Korean entertainment industry’s long-lasting couples.
They first met at church and became a couple in September 2012.
Their relationship was confirmed in January 2014 when a Korean news outlet published photos of the two dating.
After denying the dating rumors in 2013, their agencies admitted that that it was true.
Jung Kyung-ho starred in the dramas "Prison Playbook," "Hospital Playlist," "Crash Course in Romance" and last year's "Pro Bono."
Choi Soo-young debuted as a member of Girls' Generation in 2007 and pursued acting. She has appeared in “I Dol I," "Second Shot at Love," and "Dating Agency: Cyrano."
