THIRTY bodies have been found in the collapsed building in Angeles City.
The death toll in the Angeles City building collapse has reached 30 following the discovery of another body on Tuesday, June 9.
The body was located at 12:02 a.m. and recovered at 12:16 a.m.
The remains were turned over to the Angeles City Health Office (CHO) and the Management of the Dead and Missing (MDM) Team for documentation and proper handling in accordance with disaster protocols at 12:18 a.m.
The 29th fatality was found on Monday night.
The 28th victim was found on Saturday night, June 6. The 27th victim was found three days earlier on Wednesday night, June 3.
Search, rescue, and retrieval operations remain ongoing.
The building collapsed on Sunday, May 24, following a heavy downpour.
Investigation to determine the cause of the incident is ongoing.
