The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) recorded 10,888 business establishment visits across Quezon City from May 29 to June 5 under its Target Hardening Program as part of an intensified public safety campaign.
The visits aimed to sustain police visibility, deter criminal activity, and strengthen coordination with the business sector, QCPD director Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio said in a report.
During the operations, police officers reminded motorcycle riders and passengers to comply with Quezon City’s Helmet Ordinance, which requires the removal of helmets or headgear upon entering establishments and designated public areas.
Gasoline station personnel were also advised to remain alert against gas-and-run incidents and to strictly enforce a pay-before-pump policy.
Businesses were encouraged to immediately report suspicious activities and incidents through the nearest police station, the E911 hotline, or QC Helpline 122.

Based on station data, Novaliches Police Station 4 recorded the highest number of visits with 1,144, followed by Batasan Police Station 6 with 990, and Eastwood Police Station 12 with 813.
Silvio said sustained establishment visits help build public trust and reinforce police-community cooperation.
“A strong police presence discourages criminal activity and promotes cooperation between the police and the business sector while intensifying the implementation of the Enhanced Monitoring Police Operations (EMPO) of the C, PNP and the Allied Program of the RD, NCRPO,” he said.
