The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported a series of administrative and community-focused accomplishments from May 31 to June 6, highlighting its continued efforts to strengthen personnel welfare, operational readiness, and public service delivery.
QCPD said the accomplishments reflect its sustained commitment to supporting its personnel while enhancing services for the community.
The QCPD Medical and Dental Unit provided healthcare services to 3,108 beneficiaries, including personnel, dependents, civilians, and Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs).
The services included health monitoring of PUPCs, medical consultations and treatment, immunization under the Ligtas Tigdas Campaign 2026, dental services, and BMI reassessment and monthly monitoring for district headquarters personnel.
In recognition of exemplary service, the district conferred 9,892 commendations and 963 awards on personnel for their dedication, discipline, and outstanding performance in public service.
As part of its community policing efforts, the QCPD conducted 346 community engagement activities in various barangays in Quezon City to strengthen trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility in maintaining peace and order.
To ensure operational readiness, the district also facilitated the repair and maintenance of 51 service vehicles, enhancing the mobility and response capability of its stations and operating units.
Through its Damayan Program under the Office of the District Executive Senior Police Officer (ODESPO), the QCPD extended burial, medical, and calamity assistance to personnel and their families during times of need.
The district likewise provided cash gifts under the Salamat Kapatid Program, with a total of eight beneficiaries receiving assistance amounting to P110,000.
“Our achievements this week demonstrate that operational readiness, personnel welfare, and community engagement remain at the heart of QCPD's mission. We will continue to serve with professionalism, integrity, and compassion,” Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio, QCPD chief, said.
