LANDBANK First Vice President and Head of the Central NCR Branches Group, Nardo M. Masa; PRC Chairperson, Atty. Charito A. Zamora; MYEG PH Chief Executive Officer, Ann Margaret T. Saldaña; and Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines (DTOP), Eduardo Anthony G. Mariño III.
MYEG Philippines, Inc. (MYEG PH) has been providing eGovernment services in both Malaysia and the Philippines for the last 20 years through its technology platform encompassing internet, automation, big data, and electronic payments, has formalized a strategic quadripartite partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Bureau of the Treasury (BTr), and Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK).
Key signatories included Ann Margaret T. Saldaña, MYEG PH chief executive officer; Atty. Charito A. Zamora, PRC chairperson; Sharon P. Almanza, BTr treasurer; and Apollo DC. Velasco, LANDBANK assistant vice president. The BTr was represented at the ceremony by Eduardo Anthony G. Mariño III, Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines (DTOP).
Also present during the event was Mr. Nardo M. Masa, LANDBANK First Vice President and Head of the Central NCR Branches Group, together with other officials and representatives from the participating institutions.
The Quadripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony integrates MYEG PH's Electronic Payment and Collection System (EPCS) into the PRC’s Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS) for the payment of PRC fees for its various services and as a pioneer in the implementation of the Electronic Documentary Stamp Tax (eDST) for the PRC.
It reinforces the collaborative effort among the four institutions to further strengthen the digitalization of government services and provide citizens with faster, more convenient, and more accessible payment solutions for their PRC transactions, making the payment process easier and more seamless for professionals and aspiring professionals nationwide.
Through this partnership, Filipinos will be able to pay PRC fees, including the required eDST fee, for services such as application for licensure examination, initial registration, license renewals, certifications, and more, via the MYEG PH EPCS. With 100,000 payment channels nationwide, options span E-Wallets (GCash, ShopeePay, PalawanPay, GrabPay, Maya), Online Bank Transfers (BDO, BPI, RCBC, MayBank), Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB), and Over-the-Counter outlets (7-Eleven, Cebuana Lhuillier, Bayad, Palawan Pawnshop, SM Store, SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, SM Savemore, Robinsons Department Store, USSC, etc.). The system also enables QRPh payments through apps from UnionBank, Metrobank, Chinabank, Security Bank, GoTyme, MariBank, AllBank, and other participating institutions.
“This partnership marks another significant milestone in MYEG PH’s mission to help accelerate the digital transformation of government services in the Philippines. Through our Electronic Payment and Collection System, we are enabling more accessible, secure, and convenient payment solutions that empower Filipinos and support government agencies in improving service efficiency and citizen experience,” said Ann Margaret T. Saldaña.
For her part, Atty. Charito A. Zamora emphasized the agency’s commitment to modernization and public service improvement.
“The PRC continuously seeks innovative ways to improve the delivery of our services to the Filipino public. Through this partnership, we are making PRC transactions more accessible, convenient, and aligned with the government’s digitalization initiatives and ease of doing business agenda,” Zamora said.
Meanwhile, DTOP Eduardo Anthony Mariño III highlighted the importance of more inclusive, modern, and interoperable digital payment ecosystems in advancing efficient public service.
“This collaboration reflects our collective commitment to transform public service delivery and strengthen government collections in an increasingly digital world… It ensures that government services remain responsive to the evolving needs of our citizens, while upholding transparency, accountability, and efficiency in national collections,” DTOP Mariño stated.
Masa likewise underscored LANDBANK’s role in supporting digital transformation initiatives across government agencies.
“LANDBANK remains committed to supporting programs that advance financial inclusion and digital innovation in government services. Through this partnership, we help ensure that Filipinos have access to reliable and secure payment facilities for their PRC transactions anytime and anywhere,” Masa said.
The partnership further strengthens MYEG PH’s position as one of the country’s leading digital government service enablers, continuously expanding its ecosystem to support the government’s push for digital transformation and more citizen-centric public service delivery.
