Driver hurt as car overturns on IBP Road, QC

A motorist was injured after his vehicle overturned along IBP Road in Quezon City on Monday, June 8, reportedly after losing control and striking the center island.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said initial information showed that the driver may have fallen asleep or become drowsy while driving along the Commonwealth area of IBP Road.
The accident happened near Batasan Hills National High School and President Corazon C. Aquino Elementary School, causing traffic slowdown in the area as vehicles passed through the busy school zone.
Authorities said the driver, who was reportedly on his way home, survived the crash and was brought to a hospital for medical examination.
Responders later cleared the overturned vehicle from the roadway, allowing the normal flow of traffic to gradually return.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances behind the incident.
