Jay Chang may be gearing up for his first Philippine mall tour, but it’s his promise of a Tagalog song cover that is already getting Filipino fans excited.
The K-pop idol and One Pact member revealed on Instagram that he is preparing a special Tagalog performance for his upcoming visit to Manila later this month.
“Look forward to a Tagalog cover. See you in Manila soon,” he posted.
Jay is set to hold his "Jay Chang: 1st Philippine Mall Tour" from June 26 to 28, with stops at Robinsons Galleria, SM City Manila, and Ayala Malls The 30th.
The mall tour will feature live performances, fan interactions, games, talk segments, and exclusive activities designed for Filipino audiences. The addition of a Tagalog cover is expected to make the event even more memorable for local supporters.
Filipino fans have long embraced foreign artists who make an effort to connect through the local language, and Jay’s planned performance is already generating buzz ahead of his arrival.
Jay rose to prominence after joining the reality competition show "Boys Planet" in 2023 before debuting with the boy group One Pact later that year. The singer has previously shared that he has Filipino-Chinese roots through his mother.
