First Meridian Lounge, the new shared premium lounge at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, is now serving passengers of seven international airlines: Thai Airways, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Cathay Pacific, KLM, and Qatar Airways.
Located on Level 4 of the terminal, the 2,600-sqm facility caters to eligible business class and premium travelers, offering a more expansive and elevated pre-flight experience.
The privately operated third-party lounge forms part of New NAIA Infra Corp.’s (NNIC) broader initiative to enhance passenger comfort while maximizing the use of limited terminal space.
“This shared lounge supports our effort to improve the passenger experience at NAIA while using terminal space more efficiently. It gives eligible passengers of participating airlines a more comfortable and reliable pre-flight experience, while allowing us to create more space for food, beverage, retail and other amenities that benefit more travelers,” NNIC said.
Former offices, lounge areas, and underutilized spaces have been transformed into amenities that can serve a greater number of travelers. The result is a larger, more efficient facility with an expanded food and beverage program featuring local and international fare, a bakery, teppanyaki station, halal offerings, a full-service bar, and even a wine cellar.
Guests will also find spacious seating areas, high-speed Wi-Fi, workstations, shower facilities, and real-time flight information displays, alongside premium amenities such as sleep pods, infant care rooms, private rooms, children’s play areas, game and golf simulators, and quiet zones.
