Shopping is often about discovering something useful, whether it's a household essential, a quick fix, or an unexpected find. With countless products available, thoughtful store design can make the experience more convenient and enjoyable. As retailers continue to refine the shopping journey, the focus is increasingly on helping customers navigate stores and find what they need with ease.
Marking the opening of its 1,000th store at Ayala Malls Circuit, Mr. DIY Philippines is introducing its first Elevated Experience Store, a new retail concept designed to create a brighter and more seamless shopping experience. Built around a customer-first approach, the refreshed format features simplified product zoning, improved navigation, and interactive wayfinding elements that make it easier for Filipino families to explore and discover products.

The 1,565-sqm retail space features upgraded interiors, enhanced lighting, and a reorganized layout informed by Filipino shopping habits. Clearer category groupings, color-coded zones, and refined product sections help customers move through the store more efficiently while creating a more intuitive shopping experience.
Roselle B. Andaya, chief executive officer of Mr. DIY Philippines, described the milestone as both a marker of growth and a reflection of how the brand continues to evolve alongside Filipino households.
“This is more than just our 1,000th store. It reflects how Mr. DIY Philippines continues to grow and evolve alongside Filipino families. Today, customers are looking not only for value and convenience, but also for shopping experiences that feel inspiring, enjoyable, and connected to their everyday lives,” she said.

Andaya added, “Through our elevated experience store, we hope to create spaces that help Filipino families feel empowered as they work towards the life they want, because at Mr. DIY, we believe everyday living should continue to level up together with the communities we serve.”
Beyond the store opening, the milestone was also marked by a new community initiative. The brand signed a ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement with HOPE for its first Adopt-A-School Project, which seeks to help improve learning spaces for Filipino students. It is a reminder that the company's expansion is extending beyond retail and into programs that support local communities.
From a single store in 2018 to more than 1,000 locations across the country, Mr. DIY Philippines has grown alongside the communities it serves. The opening of its first Elevated Experience Store marks more than a milestone in expansion. It reflects a broader vision of making shopping simpler, more convenient, and more meaningful for Filipino families. As the retail landscape continues to evolve, the company is positioning itself not just as a place to buy everyday essentials, but as an everyday ally helping Filipinos achieve the life they want.
