Founded in 1946 by James Bullough Lansing (JBL) in Los Angeles, California, JBL has grown into a trusted household name in sound and audio all over the globe. In the Philippines, the company marked its 80th anniversary at an event held last May 15 at the Clark Marriott Hotel in Pampanga, where it unveiled its latest products and innovations.
The latest lineup, which includes JBL EasySing Mic Mini Duo, EasySing Mic Mini, PartyBox Encore 2 Plus, and PartyBox On-The-Go 2 Plus, reflects this direction: bringing together portable entertainment, immersive personal listening, gaming performance, and large-scale party experiences in one cohesive ecosystem built for modern lifestyles.
The launch night was attended by media personalities from the technology and lifestyle beats, representatives from JBL, and performers including OPM icons Yeng Constantino and South Border.
Beyond the launch, the brand also hosted a series of consumer activations from May 16 to 17, alongside the JBL Audio Playground concert. The event featured performances from P-pop group G22 and Horizon, as well as Al James, Dionela, and Ben&Ben.
