Rhiane Perez led the way for Gilas with 16 points, seven rebounds and four blocks while Zaydhen Rosano chipped in eight points.
Tiffany Reyes, who trained in the US and daughter of former PBA player Jay-R, finished with 14 points, five rebounds and two steals while another second generation player in Sophia Dignadice, daughter of PBA great Yves, did a little bit of every in 10 points, six rebounds, five assists and six steals.
Gilas faces Singapore next on Wednesday at the same venue.
