Muntinlupa police arrested a 25-year-old woman after she sold kush to an undercover agent in Barangay Alabang on June 2.
The suspect, identified as alias Cas, a newly listed high-value individual, was apprehended at about 3:50 a.m. at the Old City Terminal by operatives from the Muntinlupa Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
During the operation, authorities confiscated four plastic bags containing 508 grams of kush (high-grade marijuana) valued at ₱711,200, along with buy-bust money consisting of a genuine ₱1,000 bill and nine pieces of ₱1,000 boodle money.
She will face charges for violating Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The seized drugs were submitted for laboratory examination.
“The arrest of a high-value drug personality and the confiscation of more than half a kilogram of kush reflect our continuing efforts to disrupt the illegal drug trade,” said Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, district director of the Southern Police District.
