MG Philippines teases EV and hybrid models for PIMS

MG Motor Philippines will use the Philippine International Motor Show 2026 to preview the next stage of its electrified product push in the local market.
The brand will take part in the show from June 4 to 7, 2026 under the theme “The Next Wave Continues.” The appearance follows MG’s “Next Wave of MG” presentation at the Manila International Auto Show earlier this year and carries that direction into PIMS with a focus on hybrid and new energy vehicles.
At its pavilion, MG will present upcoming product launches, electrified models, and developments in hybrid and new energy vehicle technology. The company has not yet named the vehicles that will be shown, but it said visitors can expect previews tied to the expansion of its electrified range in the Philippines.
The MG display will also include test drives, interactive activities, customer engagement areas, and event-exclusive promotions during the four-day event.
“The Next Wave Continues represents MG’s ongoing journey toward the future of mobility,” said Wei Wei Zhang, President of MG Motor Philippines. “As we continue to expand our electrified lineup and introduce more advanced technologies, our goal remains clear: to provide Filipino customers with innovative, accessible, and globally competitive mobility solutions that move with the times and evolve with their needs.”
MG’s participation at PIMS 2026 is expected to continue the momentum of its earlier public showcase while giving showgoers an early look at the brand’s next electrified offerings.
