There is simply no mountain too tall to climb for young rider Ezra Samson.
The 16-year-old racer beat all odds to top the first leg of the National Motorcycling Racing Championships at the Batangas Racing Circuit a few weeks ago, outshining his veteran competitors to take the trophy in the PSBK SS600 class of the ultra-competitive field.

Perhaps, the international circuit very soon.

"Racing is such a scary sport. But I like it because of the adrenaline it brings and the community I am part of. You're gonna learn a lot of things from them which I can apply to my own," Samson said.
With great influence from his father Romeo who has innate love for motorcycles, Ezra first pulled the throttle when he was 12.
He learned the ropes with no branded sponsors or corporate backers. Ezra found bliss in speed, loved the smell of gas and burnt tires, and enjoyed every bit of the moment he reached the checkered flag.

Thanks to his coaches Joey Rivero and Jerico Arnaiz, Samson mastered the fundamentals and is now readying for the second leg of the national tournament at Clark International Speedway on June 6 and 7.
Hopefully, he could earn as many points as possible to become the overall champion. Representing the country is also on the horizon for the brave rider.
"I know I have so much to improve, but I am eager to prove myself," he said.
