PRO 4-A nets 111 wanted persons

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A reported on Monday the arrest of 111 wanted persons in the Calabarzon region during  Oplan Bantay Dangal.
Oplan Bantay Dangal is part of PRO 4-A’s intensified campaign against wanted persons and sexual offenders in accordance with the mandate of the Philippine National Police.
Police Brig. Gen. Hansel Marantan, PRO 4-A director, said that the operation was conducted from 4:01 a.m. on May 25 to 4 a.m. on June 1.
Marantan said 80 were arrested on warrants and 31 were apprehended during legitimate warrantless operations.
He said that PRO 4-A continues their vigorous campaign against lawbreakers, especially those involved in violence and abuse.
“We continue to intensify our campaign against lawbreakers, especially those involved in violence and abuse. We will not tolerate these acts, and we will ensure that those responsible will feel the full extent of the law,” said Marantan.
