Thai fan favorites Pond, Phuwin make their way back to Manila
Thai actors Naravit Lertratkosum and Phuwin Tangsakyuen, popularly known as the fan-favorite duo PondPhuwin, are set to return to Manila for another fan event.
The stars will hold the "PondPhuwin 'Rendezvous' Fancon in Manila" on Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. at the New Frontier Theater.
Signed under Thai entertainment powerhouse GMMTV, the pair rose to prominence through the hit boys' love (BL) series "Fish Upon the Sky" in 2021.
They later reunited in several successful projects, including "Never Let Me Go," "We Are," and most recently "Me and Thee," further cementing their popularity among fans across Asia.
Pond and Phuwin recently received the People of the Year award at the 2026 Kazz Awards, a recognition of their popularity and influence in the Thai entertainment industry, both as a screen partnership and as individual artists.
Beyond their work as a BL duo, the two have built successful careers in their own right. Pond is a member of the boy group JASP.ER, where he serves as a rapper and vocalist. The group is known for songs such as “Sadistic” and “Take It Off.”
Meanwhile, Phuwin has expanded his portfolio beyond television, including lending his voice to Hiccup in the Thai-dubbed version of the film “How to Train Your Dragon.” He has also pursued a music career, releasing solo tracks under Riser Music.
The pair's latest fan-concert tour comes amid their continued success, giving them an opportunity to showcase their individual talents while connecting with supporters across the region.
Fans attending the Manila stop can also avail of special fan benefits, including Photo Op, Soundcheck, and Hi-Touch sessions. Tickets are available through TicketNet outlets.
