A section of Cambridge Street in Quezon City will be closed from June 1, 2026 until December 2027 to give way to the construction of the “QCitizen Homes – Cambridge” housing project.
The Quezon City government said the affected stretch covers Cambridge Street from K-9th Street to Ermin Garcia Street.
Under the traffic management plan, the closure will be enforced from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Saturday, while a 24-hour closure will be implemented every Sunday and during declared holidays.
The existing one-way traffic scheme in the area will remain in effect during allowable hours.
Local authorities said the long-term closure is necessary to accommodate sustained construction works for the housing project, which is expected to improve residential access and urban living conditions upon completion.
Motorists and residents are advised to expect traffic congestion and delays and are urged to take alternative routes and plan their trips ahead while construction is ongoing.
