The city government held the ceremonial distribution on Friday, May 29, at Marulas Central School and the Valenzuela City People’s Park Amphitheater.
Students from Marulas Central School and Malinta Elementary School were among the first recipients.
The distribution is part of the city’s Education 360 Degrees Investment Program, which aims to help students prepare for the new school year.
Each school kit contains basic school supplies such as pencils, ballpens, notebooks, rulers, and textbooks, along with a lunch box, tumbler, and backpack.
The local government said 78,453 students from Kinder to Grade 6 will benefit from the program, including learners under Special Needs Education.
