Police arrested a 20-year-old woman for allegedly selling ₱1.08 million worth of shabu to an undercover agent in Muntinlupa City on May 29.
Members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Muntinlupa Police apprehended the suspect, known by the alias “Madaam,” tagged as a high-value drug suspect, at around 9:15 p.m. in Purok 4, Arandia Street, Barangay Tunasan.
She was charged for violating Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Confiscated from her were plastic sachets and a plastic bag containing 159.5 grams of shabu valued at ₱1.08 million, along with marked buy-bust money.
Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, district director of the Southern Police District, commended the operating team, stating:
“The seizure of more than ₱1 million worth of suspected shabu is a significant accomplishment that directly contributes to our mission of keeping illegal drugs off the streets and out of our communities.”
