Mayor Isko to barangay chiefs: Set aside politics, prioritize service
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso urged barangay chiefs to set aside political differences and focus on serving the public.
He stressed that public service must remain the top priority, noting that unity and cooperation among local leaders are crucial in addressing community needs and improving the delivery of government services.
The barangay chairpersons expressed their support for the city’s ongoing programs and initiatives under Domagoso’s administration.
They also thanked the mayor for implementing policies anchored on the Minimum Basic Needs framework, which aims to improve access to healthcare, education, livelihood opportunities, and other essential services for Manileños.
The meeting also served as a venue to discuss ways to strengthen coordination between barangays and the city government to ensure the continued implementation of programs that directly benefit residents.
Domagoso reiterated his commitment to working with all sectors and local officials in pursuit of a more responsive and people-centered government for the City of Manila.
