2 drug pushers fall in Parañaque sting; P102K shabu seized

Two suspected drug personalities were arrested, and more than P102,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Parañaque City Police Station's anti-narcotics operatives early Friday morning, May 29.
Parañaque City Police chief Col. Nicolas Pinon identified the suspects as Alfred, 20, and Christian, 24, both listed as members of a drug group operating in the city.
The operation was carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at around 2:00 a.m. on El Filibusterismo Street in Barangay San Dionisio.
According to the investigation, an undercover SDEU operative was able to purchase one gram of suspected shabu from Alfred for P6,800 during the operation.
A subsequent search led to the recovery of an additional eight grams of suspected shabu from Alfred, valued at ₱61,200, and five grams worth ₱34,000 from Christian.
The confiscated illegal drugs had a combined estimated value of P102,000.
Police also recovered a cellular phone and the marked buy-bust money used in the operation.
The suspects are currently detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and are facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
