Former barangay captain gunned down in Pagadian City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A former barangay captain was shot dead here on Thursday, May 28.
Police identified the victim as Alisan Guibar, 42.
The victim, a former barangay captain of Barangay Upper Sang-an, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, was driving his motorcycle in Barangay Tawagan Sur when he was shot by armed men aboard a Sports Utility Vehicle.
The victim fell from his motorcycle and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
Three spent 9mm cartridges were recovered in the crime scene. Police are continuing their investigation.
