Police return lost wallet containing P20,000 during Palaro to owner

PATIN-AY, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur – The Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) on Thursday successfully facilitated the return of a lost wallet containing P20,932 to its owner through the Lost and Found Assistance (LFA) program during the Palarong Pambansa 2026 here.
The wallet, found at the Alba Volleyball Stadium on Wednesday, May 27, contained cash, identification cards, and personal belongings. The owner’s name was withheld.
Police Regional Office 13-Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said this incident highlights the commitment of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to ensure safety, security, and public trust throughout the conduct of the Palarong Pambansa 2026.
“Our commitment is to serve and protect to everyone,” stressed the RPIO chief.
The Agusan del Sur PPO encouraged people to immediately report any lost and found items to the nearest police assistance desk or stationed police personnel to help maintain order and security during the event.
